The SPCA west relies almost exclusively on donations from the public to carry out its work. Various items are needed to take care of all these animals. If you would like to make a donation, here is our ‘wish list’ of the different things we are always in need of:

- Spray bottles
- Bleach
- Latex gloves
- Brown paper towel
- Small electric space heaters
- Heating pads
- Horse blankets
- Large blankets for big dogs
- Can openers (manual and or electric)
- Blenders
- Vanilla yogurt
- Cat transporters
- Cat toys (plastic)
- Ping pong balls for kitties
- Canned food
- Cat or dog treats
- Scratch & Stretch (cardboard scratching posts for cats)
- Litter boxes
- Slip Leads
- Martingal collars
- Dog toys (rubber)
- Tennis balls (not dollar store brand) Rope toys for dogs
- Nylon dog bones (no rawhide)
- Coats for large and medium dogs
- Large dog cages
- Peppermint or vanilla extract for dog toys
- Canned food
- Peanut butter
- Dog biscuits
- Poop bags
- Bunny toys
- Bird seeds and millets
- Bird toys
- Large bird cages
- Aquariums
- Kuranda beds (to donate, please click here)

You can bring your donation to the reception at the SPCA west which is open 6-days (Tuesday to Sunday) a week from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
(If you can’t bring the items to the SPCA west, many stores offer free delivery services).
